ABOUT ME

Two things cheer me up: art and nature. From the ethereal moon jellyfish to the dandelions growing in the pavement cracks, every living thing is worth recording on acrylic and canvas.

For me, painting plays a role in staying engaged and hopeful. It has pulled me up and away from nightmares and calmed panic attacks. Painting gives me something to do on the days when depression sits on me like a big FLAT bear. Each and every painting I complete is a bright and colourful push away from that crushing force and toward joy and positivity.
